Schalene Darr - Vice President - Board of Directors
Schalene is a true native to Gardiner; she attended school here from kindergarten through the 12th grade. She has done many things over the years, including: owned and operated a child care facility, a greenhouse and landscaping business, and taught at the Gardiner School for 12 years. Currently the Yellowstone Grill, which is a family owned and operated eatery, takes up most of her free time. Schalene and her family believe serving their community is a very important part of being business owners.
Schalene is a true believer in giving of herself. To volunteer is a gift to go beyond the self. She has volunteered as a coach, for the ambulance service, Eagles Auxiliary Board, GGCC Board, Chamber of Commerce Board, Meals on Wheels, Lunch 4 U, and multiple other small acts of giving. She has a desire to keep Gardiner history alive, and to help find a balance for locals and tourists to have a strong vibrant sense of community. Schalene brings extensive local business experience, and a willingness to tackle the challenges at hand to the GGCC Board of Directors. Schalene can be reached at: [email protected]
