Max Brenzel - Advisory Board Member
Max was born in Buffalo, NY and graduated from Alfred Agricultural and Technical College in Wellsville, NY with a degree in automotive and heavy truck repair. While in college he heard about Yellowstone National Park from fellow classmates and instructors, so he decided to apply for a position with Yellowstone Park Service Stations.
Max started work with TWA Services (now Xanterra) in 1983 and fell in love with Yellowstone and the people who make the area so unique. He worked at Bridge Bay Marina for 15 years and wintered at Old Faithful Snowlodge for eight years. While working at Old Faithful during the winter he became passionate about cross country skiing and met his better half, Jeanette Cooper. Max bought a house in Gardiner in 2000, and he joined the Gardiner Community Center Board in 2007 to help preserve an important historic community asset for present and future residents of Gardiner. He also volunteers with the Gardiner Ambulance Service and enjoys his time with this talented group of people. Max brings a strong sense of community and a willingness to help get things done to the Community Council.
