Doug MacCartney - Advisory Board Member

Doug moved to Gardiner with his wife in 1990 so he could enjoy all that Yellowstone National Park has to offer for outdoor recreation. He has worked for the Park Service as a carpenter since his arrival. Doug has also worked as a structural firefighter for the Mammoth Fire Department, and now volunteers doing both swift water rescue and high angle rescue for Yellowstone National Park and Park County, Montana. He enjoys travelling the world but also loves to hike and watch wildlife in the Greater Gardiner and Yellowstone areas. He joined GGCC to make Gardiner a more enjoyable place to live, work, or just visit. Doug brings a hard work ethic, construction skills, and a willingness to help the GGCC Advisory Board.
